Two very kind and down to earth working parents (from their home near The Grove) are searching for a new nanny to begin right away (or as soon as the right person is available!) The two kiddos are 3 years old (boy, in school most of the day) and 1 year old (girl!) The schedule will be M-F from 8am-6pm (guaranteed!) and the pay will be $30-$35 per hour, on payroll with overtime pay and paid time off included. The family has one senior dog in the home, so please be comfortable with animals.
This family is very respectful of the nanny and her role: "We try to be fair and open, good communication, to be respectful. It's a hard job, we think a nanny's job is very demanding, physically, mentally and emotionally. We want them to be happy and comfortable. Want it to be mutually beneficial, a win-win situation."
They are looking for someone who is experienced with these ages, personable, professional, and dedicated, who above all else genuinely loves working with children and takes it seriously. Someone with a good attitude, a good work ethic, who is receptive with excellent judgement. A clean driving record with a reliable vehicle to get to and from work is needed (car provided for any potential on the job driving).
Duties are child focused, the children are top priority. They ask that you handle the basics, including feeding and grooming (nail clipping!) developmentally appropriate activities, help with preschool drop off and pick up for the 3-year-old, playtime/activities/excursions to the park, etc. with 1 year old, basic meal preparation for children (and for the family, if possible. Huge plus if their new nanny is a good cook but please be able to at a minimum make basic meals for the children.) Child related cleaning/organizing, occasional errands/grocery shopping.
If this sounds like a perfect position for you and you are able to commit for at least the next year, please send your resume to naysnannies@gmail.com with the subject: "Grove Nanny!" Thank you!
