Full Time Nanny Position for Two in Mar Vista!

A hardworking family of 4 in Mar Vista is looking for a full-time long-term nanny to begin right away! Both parents work from home at least part of the time.

The children are 3 years old (in part time preschool) and 3 months old! Please note, the family has dogs, so dog lovers are encouraged to apply.

Location: Mar Vista

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm (flexibility to stay late will be important)

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Pay: $35 per hour

Requirements:

• 5+years of professional experience working with children starting at 18 including recent young infant care experience)

• A clean driving record and safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)

• A clean criminal record (Trustline registered or willing and able to be)

• CPR/FA certification (in-person and current)

• Covid vaccinated

• Annual flu shot a plus

• Current tdap required

• English fluency

• Authorization to work in the US

• A valid US passport

The ideal candidate for this position is:

• Someone mom can get along with well and appreciate but also someone who understands the dynamic and can read the room

• Flexible to stay late

• Tidy and able to maintain and organized and tidy space

• Social with other nannies and willing to facilitate playdates with other children

• Professional and able to step in and out when appropriate, allowing the family to have family time

Duties: Mostly child related but being a team player is important as there will be a lot of down time when the older child is in school, and the baby is asleep. The family is looking for someone who considers themselves a team player and likes to work.

• General tidying (no deep cleaning)

• Child laundry

• Organizing toys

• Help with dishes if in the sink

• Random helpful take to help the house run smoothly

Travel: Possibly a small amount
