Full Time Nanny Position for Two in Brentwood!

A kind and loving family of four in Brentwood is looking for a new full-time, long-term nanny to join their family starting this month!

Their current nanny is moving and would be more than happy to provide a reference for the family. Mom and Dad both work from home a good part of the time and the family does have a senior dog, so dog lovers are encouraged to apply!

Start Date: April 21

Location: Brentwood

Children: One 1-year-old boy with severe asthma and one 3-year-old girl with asthma (in preschool).

Pets: Dog (13) The family asks that the nanny open the door to let him out if they are not able to occasionally, and to put water in his bowl.

Guaranteed Schedule: M-TH 8am-5pm & F 8am-12pm (With notice, the family can offer flexibility in terms of schedule change requests and would appreciate the same in return, though it isn’t required.)

Longevity: Long term, ideally 2 years+.

Pay: $35 an hour (on payroll)

Benefits: Standard paid time off

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional childcare experience start at the age of 18

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle (family will pay for mileage and car wash)

• Clear criminal background (Trustline registered or willing/eligible)

• Ability to keep up with young active children

• Covid vaccinated

• Flu vaccinated (or willing in the fall considering the immunocompromised children)

• Fluent English speaker

• Comfortable learning to administer asthma medication to both children

The ideal candidate for this family is:

• A self-starter who is calm at times of chaos with kids

• Receptive to feedback and communicative, able to respectfully bring any concerns or issues to the family

• Calm and warm

• Flexible and “go with the flow” mentality (if there is a change in routine, etc.)

Duties:

• Child related only (cleaning up after them, providing nutritious meals, handling child laundry, organizing toys when there’s time, etc.) HUGE plus if you are willing to stay with their dog if the family goes away, but not a dealbreaker and can be discussed.

Travel: Not needed
